So my plane leaves ridiculously early tomorrow morning to take me to London for meetings with the good people at the Louboutin offices and the Manolo offices. Good times. I don’t know really what to expect from Louboutin this time, at our last meeting we heard that Mr. Christian recently had nightmares over the studs he is so famous for. So, will the spikes and studs be gone this time? I would miss them, I think. I did like the way they turn my sweet flats into weapons of (small) destruction, but maybe enough is enough? I wonder what’ll come next. Florals? I’m not sure. I wish ruffles would make a comeback, he does them so well. Very Can Can. So french. Voulez vous?
What Manolo has in store for us I could never guess. Maybe I’ll walk into the presentation room and be greeted by feathers and crystal embellishments in the most unimaginable shapes and color-combinations? He is always surprising and incredibly creative in his designs. Sometimes a little difficult but never boring.
Both of these meetings are of that special kind that I am never allowed to take pictures of anything. I’ll try to get some shots in non-sensitive areas like the reception or perhaps up against a wall where there is nothing remotely interesting for anyone to copy. How about that? Nope, not super interesting, I know. Buhu that’s life.

Gorgeous, no? Carolina Gynning in our very own Jimmy Choo Cosmic pumps and Christian Louboutin Sweety Charity, together with Helena af Sandeberg and Alexandra Dahlström representing the film Blondie at this years Venice Film Festival.

Stylist and fashion journalist Semra Dedic came by the Savannahs shop and picked up a pair of Christian Louboutin Filo 120 in black kid to wear to one of the shows of SS13 Stockholm Fashion Week. Putting the Louboutins together with a harem pant is just brilliant, and I could not want her hair more right now. You should check out her blog for some spot-on Stockholm fashion and a whole lot of cool.

Great styling using these leopard printed crêpe Piou Piou pumps from Christian Louboutin. We still have a few pairs in stock, and they’re quite small to size so choose a whole size larger than you normally would. I would match the Piou Piou with camouflage like in the picture above or with ripped jeans and a crisp white shirt these early autumn days.
Sweet Carolina Gynning has picked up some sparkling goodies in the store to wear to the Venice Film Festival 2012 representing the film Blondie. After much consideration she chose the Jimmy Choo Cosmic pump in coarse glitter and the Christian Louboutin Sweety Charity bag in glitter fabric. I believe she will dazzle Venice with or without glitter accessories, she has that rare kind of star quality. And the dress! It’s by Pär Engsheden who also designed Swedish Crown Princess Victoria’s wedding gown. I’ll post pictures of her from the red carpet as soon as I have them.

I love the updated retro feel of Jonathan Saunders pre-fall 2012 lookbook. Even more so since he used the Christian Louboutin Arnoud bootie with almost every look. The different colorways are all pretty, but like most of my fellow northerners, a simple black is what I’ll go for myself. You’ll find them among our other designer shoes in the web shop and in our boutique in Stockholm.
Prints have a great way of brightening up an otherwise muted fall wardrobe, don’t you think? However, I will wear my ankle boots with either slacks or stockings, because this bare-legged look just doesn’t work this far up north.

MANOLO BLAHNIK Bath patent brogues
These shiny numbers have been turning heads in the boutique lately. Flats in general are big this Fall, they’re kind of the new ballerina. And when they come in so many fancy variations, from studded, to glittery, and even with cute tassels, who can resist?
